Counselling
We offer counselling to anyone who approaches our service and are inclusive of all members of the public regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation.
Outreach
We aim to make all our services accessible to the whole community, including those who find it difficult to come to our premises on Abbey Street.
Advice
We offer information and advice services to help you with things like benefit applications and sanctions, to rights at work and housing issues. Our advice workers offer support throughout the advice process and work closely with other team members in Maundy.
Key scheme
The Maundy Relief Key Scheme provides support to single homeless people to to obtain a suitable property from a reputable private landlord/agent. We can also provide assistance with benefit forms and help to get started with a tenancy.
Health service
Maundy Relief Health is now an established service run by a registered nurse with many years of experience working within the National Health Service, and is supported by local GPs.
The Bridge
The Bridge is a free counselling service based in Accrington for young people aged 11 – 18.

Food and lunches
Our Drop In Centre serves a free lunch 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday from 12:30pm to 1:15pm.
Everyone is welcome.
On Sundays a free curry lunch is served at the Saheli Centre on Charter Street Accrington at 1:15pm.
Food Parcels are available for anyone in need from our drop in centre.
Anger management
Our Anger Management Service offers a high quality service that is not generally available through the NHS or other public services in East Lancashire.
The aim of anger management is to provide a managed learning environment to facilitate a greater awareness of personal anger. Anger management will help you to learn what triggers your anger, how you react to anger or what your anger style is as well as learning to manage your anger and to react in more helpful ways.
